How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW at Air Liquide?
As a core member of the Commissioning Department, you are the expert responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of the commissioning and start-up phases at site. You are the central link, working hand-in-hand with engineering, construction, HSE, project management, commissioning supervisors and client teams to guarantee a safe, efficient, and successful plant start-up.
You will join a committed team whose mission is to carry out major industrial projects to support the energy transition, within a corporate culture focused on safety. In an international and dynamic context, our team is currently experiencing strong growth. You will join a group of 35 people based across Europe.
Are you a MATCH?
-You have a 2-years college degree or an Engineering degree (or equivalent) in process, mechanical, instrumentation
-You have at least 8 years of experience in industrial commissioning (preferably in gases, chemicals, energy, oil & gas, or process industries) and minimum 5 years as a commissioning manager
-You have a solid understanding of process plant operation and multi-discipline technical interfaces.
-You have a strong command of commissioning methodology, documentation, and safety standards.
-You have excellent communication, planning, and leadership skills.
-You are fluent in English and French (written and spoken) - mandatory.
-You are able to travel and be assigned to international project sites for extended periods (6-18 months).

Are you a MATCH?
- In Home Office:
- Define the commissioning strategy, planning, staffing and execution for assigned projects.
- Support the proposal effort
- At Site, under the responsability of the Site Manager:
- Be accountable for the Safety of the Commissioning activities. Implement and enforce HSE procedures and promote a proactive safety culture at all levels of commissioning activities.
- Lead all commissioning activities to safely deliver the project on time, on budget and with the expected level of quality
- Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation (Commissioning Plan, test procedures, tracking matrices, handover dossiers).
- Coordinate all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities across disciplines (process, mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, utilities).
- Manage internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and commissioning engineers.
- Oversee cold and hot testing (blowing, loop checking), initial start-up, and operational readiness, ensuring full safety and technical compliance.
- Act as the main point of contact for commissioning with the client, project team, and construction site.
- Manage punch lists, non-conformities, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
- Lead daily/weekly commissioning meetings and ensure progress is reported accurately.
- Contribute to final project reviews and post-project lessons learned.
