ECOCOAST Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Yanbu. The role involves managing and executing marine-related projects, with a focus on the installation and maintenance of navigation buoys and other marine products. The successful candidate will also serve as a QHSE Ambassador, promoting and ensuring compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. The candidate must have 3-5 years of experience in marine services or construction, a strong understanding of IALA regulations, and the ability to travel to project sites across Saudi Arabia as required.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute marine projects, including the installation and maintenance of navigation buoys and other marine products.
  • Ensure compliance with IALA regulations and other relevant industry standards.
  • Act as a QHSE Ambassador by promoting and enforcing Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across all project activities.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement QHSE protocols to ensure safe and sustainable project execution.
  • Prepare project schedules, budgets, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct site assessments and surveys to determine project requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Oversee on-site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide innovative solutions during project execution.
  • Maintain accurate project records and provide regular progress reports to management.
  • Travel to project sites across Saudi Arabia as required to support project implementation.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in marine services, marine construction, or related industries.
  • Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of navigation buoys or other marine products.
  • Knowledge of IALA (International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities) regulations.
  • Familiarity with QHSE standards and practices in marine projects.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites across Saudi Arabia as required.
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia.

  • Demonstrates in-depth expertise in marine site engineering and construction principles.
  • Applies industry-specific best practices and standards to project work.
  • Communicates effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders to facilitate project success.
  • Builds strong working relationships and collaborates effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is a plus.
  • Experience with marine project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
