Overview
The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for overseeing electrical systems design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting within the Facilities Management (FM) environment. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, optimizes energy efficiency, and supports operational reliability across all electrical infrastructure.
Your role
- Design, review, and approve electrical systems and layouts for FM projects.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety codes, and industry standards.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for projects.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and contractors to deliver integrated solutions.
- Implement energy-saving initiatives and monitor electrical consumption.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
About you
- Education: BSc degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Certification: Certified Facility Manager (CFM) Certificate.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar position within the Facilities Management field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and building services.
- Familiarity with FM standards, safety regulations, and energy management practices.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and MS Office tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills
