Requirements
Technical & Project Coordination
- Review project drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
- Coordinate with the design team to ensure shop drawings are aligned with project requirements.
- Assist in material take-offs, BOQ preparation, and procurement coordination.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, main contractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project progress.
- Supervise installation activities for aluminium and glass works including curtain walls, cladding, doors, windows, and skylights.
- Monitor and ensure that work is executed as per approved drawings and safety standards.
- Identify and resolve site issues, ensuring minimum disruption to the schedule.
- Assist in managing subcontractors and labor teams on-site.
- Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports and updates for the Project Manager.
- Track project timelines, costs, and variations.
- Participate in site meetings and prepare necessary documentation.
- Ensure quality assurance and quality control procedures are followed on-site.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
- 5+ years of UAE experience in aluminium & glass or façade engineering.
- Sound knowledge of curtain wall systems, aluminium cladding, glazing, and related products.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting shop drawings, structural details, and installation manuals.
- Skilled in AutoCAD, MS Office (especially Excel), and project management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Strong understanding of UAE building codes and safety regulations.
- UAE driving license is preferred.
