About Bitdeer

Bitdeer Technologies Group (Nasdaq: BTDR) is a world-leading technology company for Bitcoin mining and advanced computing. We provide comprehensive computing solutions including equipment procurement, logistics, datacenter design and construction, fleet management, and daily operations. We also offer advanced cloud capabilities for AI workloads. Headquartered in Singapore, Bitdeer operates datacenters in the United States, Norway, and Bhutan.

What you will be responsible for
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical power, communication, lighting, and control systems in an industrial/datacenter environment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams (circuits, panels, MCCs, one-lines) to locate circuits, outlets, equipment, and routing.
  • Install and maintain wiring; repair power distribution, communications cabling, breaker panels, motor control systems, and lighting.
  • Inspect electrical components (e.g., transformers, circuit breakers) and verify code conformance.
  • Diagnose electrical problems using ammeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, thermal scanners/IR cameras, oscilloscopes, cable testers, and high-voltage apparatus.
  • Perform repairs/replacements of wiring, fixtures, motors, drives, PLC I/O, and related equipment using appropriate hand and power tools.
  • Install conduit/tubing (EMT, RMC, PVC), pull and terminate conductors including high-voltage terminations.
  • Install/connect equipment to power circuits; land lead-in wires at control boxes and equipment.
  • Splice/solder conductors and electronic components as needed; perform PLC panel build/field terminations.
  • Execute preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and documentation in industrial/manufacturing/repair settings.
  • Adhere to and apply Norway/local regulations, and company safety policies (Lockout/Tagout, hot-work, arc-flash).
  • Direct and mentor technicians; coordinate tasks with cross-functional crews (facilities, operations, IT/Network).
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and files in CMMS and other systems.
  • Maintain electrician's tools and test equipment; ensure proper calibration and care.

How you will stand out
  • Proven experience with PLCs (troubleshooting, I/O, sensors), motor controls, VFDs/soft starters, lighting controls, and industrial control panels.
  • Demonstrated skill with high-voltage terminations and medium-voltage distribution in industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with SCADA/BMS and datacenter or high-availability facilities experience.
  • Strong blueprint reading, root-cause analysis, and documentation discipline.
  • Ability to work safely at heights and in confined or hard-to-reach areas; consistent PPE and safety leadership.
  • Effective collaboration and communication on multi-trade crews, plus ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

What you will experience working with us

  • Involvement in new projects and in developing processes/systems.
  • Personal accountability, autonomy, rapid growth, and learning opportunities.
  • Attractive benefits and development such as training and mentoring.

Good to know: Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Regular activities include standing or walking for extended periods on 12-hour shifts; climbing ladders/scaffolding; working on elevated surfaces; lifting, moving, or positioning objects (often 50 lbs+ with assistance); reaching into/around equipment; and working in tight or elevated spaces.
  • Role requires ability to distinguish colors for wiring identification; read and understand service/repair manuals; analyze malfunctioning electrical/electronic equipment; and follow strict safety procedures (LOTO, arc-flash boundaries, PPE).
  • The position may require occasional travel or support at nearby sites as business needs arise.

Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelors degree; technical/vocational training in electrical systems preferred.
  • 5+ years as an Industrial/Construction/Maintenance Electrician (datacenter, manufacturing, utilities, or similar).
  • Working knowledge of Norwaye/local codes, and industrial safety practices.
  • Proficiency with test equipment: voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, megger/insulation tester, thermal scanner/IR camera, cable tester, oscilloscope, soldering equipment, and HV test apparatus.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, one-lines, P&IDs, and control diagrams.

Preferred qualifications
  • Electrician license (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).
  • PLC experience (Allen-Bradley/Siemens), relay logic, instrumentation, and low-voltage controls.
  • Experience with MCCs, generators/UPS, switchgear, and power quality monitoring.
  • Familiarity with structured cabling (fiber/copper) and installation of power, communication, control, or security systems.
