Overview

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our US Minerals and Metals team in Henderson, NV.

Your role

• Developing process engineering deliverables, such as:
• Heat and mass balance development using HSC-Sim and METSIM software products
• Trade-off studies and technology selection
• Process description
• Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) development
• Pipe sizing
• Data sheet and equipment specification development
• Process Design Criteria
• Control narratives

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Metallurgical Engineering, or Materials Engineering.
• Minimum of four years' experience since B.S.; three years' experience since M.S.
• Experience in the following areas are essential:
• Technical report writing
• Familiarity with Flowsheet development
• Familiarity with off-gas handling units and off-gas characteristics
• Working knowledge of Design calculations / Equipment sizing
• Familiarity with process control basis
• Awareness of Health, safety and Environment (HSE)
• Heat and mass balance development using HSC-Sim and METSIM software products.
• Trade-off studies and technology selection
• Process description
• Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) development
• Pipe sizing
• Data sheet and equipment specification development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Gold Extraction is highly desired
