This role involves system configuration, troubleshooting, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure and efficient automation solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design and Configure SCADA Systems: Select and configure hardware (sensors, controllers) and software (HMI, communication protocols).
- System Implementation & Maintenance: Oversee installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of SCADA systems.
- Develop System Architecture: Create and manage SCADA architecture, including real-time data applications and communication infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve operational issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Integration & Collaboration: Work with other engineering teams to integrate SCADA systems with existing infrastructure.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Ensure SCADA systems meet security standards and best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- Experience with SCADA platforms (e.g., Wonderware, Siemens, ABB).
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, DNP3).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles for industrial control systems.
- Experience in oil & gas or energy sector.
- PLC programming knowledge.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
