JOB DESCRIPTION

The SCADA Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems to ensure reliable monitoring and control of industrial processes. This role involves system configuration, troubleshooting, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure and efficient automation solutions. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Configure SCADA Systems: Select and configure hardware (sensors, controllers) and software (HMI, communication protocols).
  • System Implementation & Maintenance: Oversee installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of SCADA systems.
  • Develop System Architecture: Create and manage SCADA architecture, including real-time data applications and communication infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve operational issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Integration & Collaboration: Work with other engineering teams to integrate SCADA systems with existing infrastructure.
  • Cybersecurity Compliance: Ensure SCADA systems meet security standards and best practices.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
  • Experience with SCADA platforms (e.g., Wonderware, Siemens, ABB).
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, DNP3).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles for industrial control systems.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in oil & gas or energy sector.
  • PLC programming knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
