About the role
Are you creative, technically skilled, and have an eye for detail? Do you want to contribute to sustainable and innovative packaging solutions for various applications - from high-tech equipment to industrial transport packaging? Then this is your chance to start your career as a Junior Mechanical Engineer.

In this role, you will be the technical link between the client and production. No day is the same: one day you might design a cleanroom-compatible package, while the next you might develop a robust transport frame or an intelligent cushioning technique for sensitive equipment. You will translate complex customer requests into concrete, manufacturable solutions that integrate technology, functionality, and sustainability.

Your role

• Designing and modeling mechanical components and packaging in 3D CAD
• Drafting specifications, calculations, and technical documentation
• Supporting the construction, testing, and improvement of prototypes
• Identifying opportunities for improvements in design or processes
• Coordinating with suppliers, production, and project teams

What we expect from you

What you bring

• Completed HBO or WO education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of materials science, tolerances, and production techniques
• Experience with 3D CAD (e.g. SolidWorks or NX)
• Good command of Dutch and English
• A curious and proactive attitude
