About this vacancy
In this role, you will be responsible for calibrating and testing custom-made machines. You ensure that these machines are functional and perfectly aligned with the specific needs of each client. In collaboration with the production and engineering departments, you work on improvements and adjustments that fit seamlessly. Additionally, you provide advice on maintenance guidelines. Once the machine is ready, it will be transported and installed at the client's site by technicians. Afterward, you will spend 3 to 4 weeks focusing on testing, preparing safely, and making the process operational. This leads to a service contract where you return every 2-3 years for periodic inspections and preventive maintenance. In summary, a self-driven and varied position, where you will spend 50% of your time traveling to destinations including America, Asia (India, Korea, China, Singapore), and Europe.
What we expect from you
- A completed education in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar; - Higher professional education (HBO) level of work and thinking; - Communication skills and independence; - Customer and service orientation; - Willingness to spend 50% of your working time abroad; - Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written; - Recognition in our core values: collaboration, resourcefulness, eagerness to learn, entrepreneurship, and leadership; - Humor. Bad humor is also acceptable.
