About this vacancy

As a Commissioning Engineer, you ensure that sustainable installations in gas and cooling technology are flawlessly commissioned. You are the specialist who makes the difference between construction and actual operation. In this role, you coordinate tasks on-site, carry out commissioning activities such as leak testing, vacuuming, and cold and warm start-ups, and provide operators with practical and theoretical training. You work closely with clients, project teams, and subcontractors to ensure everything operates safely, efficiently, and according to plan. - Coordinate and manage all on-site activities, including monitoring schedules, resources, and project documentation; - Carry out commissioning activities such as leak testing, vacuuming of cooling systems, cold and warm start-ups, and Site Acceptance Tests; - Provide practical and theoretical training to client operators for successful transfer; - Collaborate and communicate closely with clients, project teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution; - Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with relevant safety standards and certifications.

What we expect from you

• Technical education at MBO 4 or bachelor's level;
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in commissioning and project execution;
• Technical knowledge of refrigeration technology, process and control technology;
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written;
• Independent, proactive, flexible, and stress-resistant;
• Customer-oriented with strong communication skills.
