Quality Assurance Manager

£27,642.08 to £28,471.34 per annum

37.5 hours per week

Hybrid role, requirement to travel to Wath upon Dearne, Rotherham, S63 7ER, as and when required.

About us

Our G4S Customer Contact Centre in Wath Upon Dearne provides advice and support to the public on behalf of our clients. We have experienced rapid growth and are now a team of over 2000 people who spend their day helping people.

About the role

The successful applicant will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the Company's Quality Management System (QMS), including its processes and improvement practices, bringing these to life through effective engagement, training, management and reporting. You will work closely with the business management team and officers to provide support with the qualification and management of suppliers and customers, to ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a G4S quality team in preparing quality processes and procedures, informed by best practices.
  • Oversee all Quality Framework activity to ensure full completion.
  • Monitor the implementation of procedures by the G4S Quality team and associated subcontractors completing regular reviews of delivery with associated improvement plans and ensuring that all findings feed into the self-assessment process.
  • Advise and support subcontractors with their individual quality systems providing feedback to drive improvements.
  • Complete a Self-Assessment process covering all provisions and use centrally driven quality audits to feed into associated quality improvement plans to drive improvements for the business.
  • Align with operational requirements and support the preparation of site procedures, activity plans and assurance records to ensure that staff have comprehensive and complete records for work carried out.
  • Undertake process reviews and audits, supporting the design, development and implementation of quality management systems and standard operating procedures across the business.
  • Increase equality, diversity and inclusion within the team and wider G4S business by demonstrating a proactive culture of delivery of a professional service whilst adopting key principles of respect and inclusivity.

Essential Skills and Criteria:
  • State qualification level.
  • Consider an apprenticeship entry.
  • IT Literate.
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally both in writing and verbally.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Must hold a current valid UK driving licence.

Desirable skills and criteria:
  • Experience of the employment or skills sectors.
  • Experience of ISO 9001 QMS alignment and certification requirements.
