Role:
- Keep yourself familiar with new technologies and best practices relate to current M&A/ NVprojects for Oil & Gas as well as Renewables;
- As part of the M&A due diligence process, review and comment on the proposed scope, schedule and cost associated with the project.
- Assist in building CIMS processes, workflows and standards for facility evaluations
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers within the organization.
Background:
- Robust experience and understanding of O&G facility engineering
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Expertise in process simulation software and equipment sizing.
- Experience in O&G facility engineering evaluation on upstream assets
- General knowledge of the offshore engineering, fabrication and construction industry.
- Strong analytical skill and effectively communicate technical data
- Commercial awareness – recognising the value of the technical work to the business and not for it’s own sake
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills:
- Effectively communicate about technical concepts and data, with appropriate key messages clear and unambiguous
- Able to deliver appropriate quality work, often under pressure, in a timely manner without compromising integrity
- Self-starter, driven and show initiative – this team requires individuals to self-manage much of the time
- Team player – able to work with others in a constructive manner, potentially across different cultures and time zone boundaries
