Job Purpose

• Support Project Manager in delivery and governance of project deliverables within quality and timeline requirements
• Design and develop electrical control systems for oil and gas operations
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, codes, and safety standards
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise electrical equipment in oil and gas facilities
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis, implementing mitigation strategies
• Prepare technical reports, procedures, and documentation
• Contribute to development of Performance Standard documents for safety-critical systems
• Identify and verify safety-critical electrical equipment for onshore and offshore assets
• Develop and improve equipment strategies within SAP/Meridium
• Prepare and implement Preventive Maintenance Change Requests (PMCR)
• Collaborate with other Subject Matter Experts to support Barrier Management projects

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure maintainable Safety Critical Elements (SCE) of electrical equipment have effective assurance tasks and frequencies
• Support installation, commissioning, and operational readiness of electrical systems
• Maintain alignment with project requirements and long-term equipment strategies
• Provide technical guidance and support to project and operations teams
• Track, report, and recommend improvements to electrical engineering processes

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
• Hands-on experience with SAP and Meridium for asset management and maintenance strategies
• Experience overseeing installation and commissioning of electrical equipment
• Excellent technical knowledge in electrical engineering and control systems
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments and manage multiple priorities
• Strong collaboration, relationship-building, and communication skills
• Competence in writing, presentation, and documentation in English
• Understanding of cross-functional business processes
