We are looking for a Mechanical Superintendent for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Fabrication Yard in China (TBC but most probably Nantong or Tianjin)

Start Date: 1st of March 2026

Contract Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Status: Residential, 6 days per week

Qualification and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering,
• Minimum of 15 years' experience in the oil industry with onshore construction experience in a Superintendent role
• Delivery focused with proven experience in achieving project goals whilst maintaining high standards in HSSE at all times
• Extensive knowledge of the construction process, its implementation and management. Fully conversant with project management tools
• Experienced in the production of detailed procedures / documents / reports
• Experienced in the management of personnel and all aspects of team working
• Extensive knowledge of O&G related HSSE safe working practices / procedures related to Mechanical (Static & Rotating, HVAC included) activities
• Evaluate and manage the Co-Activities with Construction SPVs
• Ability to deliver training to personnel within the construction team - commitment to develop team member
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment.
• Self-motivated, good team member, but fully able to work independently.
• Language: English as mother tongue or Fluent in English (speaking and writing), Fluent in Chinese is a plus.

Job Dimensions

The job holder mission during Execution phase is as follow:

• HSE as per company standards.
• Management and follow-up on a daily basis of the Mechanical (Static & Rotating, HVAC included) construction work scope as per project specifications and schedule in coordination with the Module Construction Manager.
• Ensure the GPP contractor execute the Mechanical (Static & Rotating, HVAC included) scope as per the GPP contract.
• Identify any deviation and propose correction.
• Liaising with the GPP supervision team to ensure progress execution, quality and HSE on site.
