Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
Each day, you will plan and execute work with a first-time -right approach for our customers. You will also showcase your expertise by demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and care in your area of responsibility.
The work model for the role is: # LI-O nsite.
This position contributes to the Motion Service business area and involves close collaboration with customers and internal teams.

This position contributes to the Motion Service business area and involves close collaboration with customers and internal teams.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and troubleshooting equipment/process failures during on-site interventions.
- Preparing clear and accurate service reports using Word and Exce l
- Ensuring all materials, parts, and equipment are available and meet quality standards for service activities.
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings to support interventions.
- Using mechanical tools and measurement instruments with precision and safety.
Qualifications for the role
- Good command of English (spoken and written) to interact effectively with international customers.
- Strong problem-solving skills during on-site interventions.
- Ability to prepare clear and structured reports using Word and Excel.
- Good understanding of mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
- Manual dexterity and experience using mechanical tools and measurement instruments.
- Willingness to travel extensively: 70% abroad and 30% within Italy.
- Degree or technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields is a plus.
- Knowledge of electric motors and their components.
