Key Responsibilities:

• Performing engineering duties on the Project Site.
• Ensuring Project codes, specifications and standards are followed and achieved.
• Resolving Electrical and Instrument field engineering issues.
• Interface and support the Site Construction Management Team, Contractors, and Vendors on engineering requirements of Electrical and Instrument scope of work.
• Review on Site design or engineering issues and resolve in conjunction with CMT and Project Home Office.
• Ensure CMT and Contractors / Vendors are using correct and latest revisions of technical documents.
• Participate in Inspection and Test Plan inspections and ensure completion results are submitted to the Completions Management System.
• Support the coordination of Site activities to ensure schedule compliance and to prevent interface issues from arising.
• To support the Project HSSE programmes and to ensure that HSSE activities are performed and that HSSE goals , objectives and targets are met.
• Monitor Contractor / Vendor performance and ensure that Quality Control goals, objectives and targets are met.

Required Expertise:

• Attending construction / Contractor / third party meetings when required to do so.
• Competencies/Skills:  Able to consult and communicate with other disciplines and Contractors / Vendor personnel.
• Computer literate, proficient with Microsoft Office 365 application specifically: Outlook, Excel. PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word.
• Working knowledge in oral and written German and understanding of spoken English.
• Qualifications: Discipline degree or equivalent level qualification would be preferred but experience and training levels will be considered in conjunction with academic qualifications.
• Petrochemical, oil and gas industry experience in an Electrical and Instrument role with a proven technical background.
