Job Title: Construction Supervisor

Location: Qatar

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee site construction and installation activities for major engineering projects in the Oil & Gas sector. The role ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with approved engineering standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise site construction and installation activities for assigned contracts, ensuring work is safe and compliant with scope, standards, and specifications.
• Participate in constructability reviews and provide feedback when required.
• Review contractors' construction plans, schedules, method statements, and JSAs.
• Coordinate and manage contractor mobilization, including site laydown areas.
• Facilitate issuance of necessary permits, gate passes, and work authorizations.
• Inspect and test completed work, arranging commissioning inspections as needed.
• Initiate Mechanical Completion Certificates and ensure all punch list items are completed and cleared.
• Review and endorse red-marked and as-built drawings.
• Participate in facility handover, acceptance, and commissioning activities.
• Review and endorse construction dossiers for assigned projects.
• Ensure timely execution of construction scope according to approved plans, specifications, and standards.
• Supervise contractor teams to ensure adherence to permit-to-work systems and safety requirements.
• Review and endorse contractor progress reports and site work updates.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc. in Engineering or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline with extensive construction experience.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in Oil & Gas construction and installation projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, industry standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and conflict resolution skills.
