Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer - Rotating Equipment

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Chartered or Professional Engineer status is preferred.

Experience & Skills

• Solid experience in Rotating Equipment Engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Knowledge of relevant engineering standards, codes, and practices for Rotating Equipment.
• Proven ability to manage time, cost, and quality across multiple projects.
• Strong verbal and written English skills, including presentation proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical design and engineering services for Rotating Equipment across assigned projects, ensuring quality, schedule, cost, and HSE compliance.
• Conduct engineering studies, site surveys, FEED, detailed design, and commissioning activities for rotating equipment.
• Apply technical assurance practices, engineering standards, and safety/environmental policies in all work scopes.
• Review technical deviations, variations, and engineering documents for compliance with approved standards.
• Support updating and implementation of internal engineering standards and amendments.
• Plan and coordinate activities of multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver technical services on time.
• Coordinate and review multi-disciplinary work scopes and engineering designs to ensure clarity and completeness.
• Review and approve contractor method statements and liaise to resolve technical issues.
• Develop, update, and monitor schedules for in-house engineering activities; support external FEED/EPIC scheduling.
• Evaluate technical bid packages and contract changes for compliance.
• Support development of technical competency and participate in structured training programs for junior engineers.
