Overview
A leading engineering services company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, operation, and maintenance of oil and gas facilities. The role involves providing technical expertise across projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and contributing to safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, review, and analyse mechanical systems for oil and gas installations
- Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, and reports
- Support commissioning, operation, and maintenance activities
- Perform equipment inspections, failure analysis, and troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and HSE requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and budget
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 3-7 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of pumps, compressors, piping, pressure vessels, and rotating equipment
- Familiarity with industry codes such as ASME, API, and ISO standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
