EngineeringIntroduction
Join ASML's Hardware Development team in Veldhoven and contribute to the future of semiconductor technology. Our machines rely on ultra-precise, low-noise data acquisition to deliver world-class performance. To achieve this, we are optimizing the analog-to-digital signal chain through a modular front-end architecture. This internship focuses on improving calibration sequences to minimize noise and drift while maintaining accuracy and cycle time. If you are passionate about board design and signal integrity, this is your opportunity to make an impact.
Your assignment
You will explore the current architectural proposal, sensor technologies, and calibration methods used in our systems. After analyzing noise sources and drift behavior, you will define requirements for an optimized front-end design. Finally, you will validate these requirements through a proof of concept using simulations and theoretical analysis.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Your profile
To be suitable for the internship, you:
This is an internship for minimum 4 months, 5 days per week (5 days on-site). The start date of this internship is February 2, 2026.
Other requirements you need to meet:
