Our Mechanical Engineering team ensures that ASML machines operate reliably in demanding environments. Optical fibers inside these machines are fragile and need protection against damage and external influences. Protective hoses, also called jacketing, play a key role in this process. Currently, there is no clear guideline on which hose types to use in different situations. During this internship, you will help create clarity and improve reliability across ASML systems.
Your assignment
You will research protective hose solutions and develop a proposal for their use within ASML. This includes analyzing current practices, exploring external options, and defining critical parameters for selection. Your main responsibilities will be:
This is a bachelor's or master's internship for minimum 3 months, minimum 3 days per week (3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of February, 2026.
