A Snapshot of your day

Your day involves performing preventative and corrective maintenance on Siemens Energy equipment, troubleshooting and resolving issues, conducting installations or commissioning of new systems, and following strict safety protocols. Additionally, you prepare detailed technical reports, participate in root cause analysis, and take part in training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge of packaged and ancillary equipment.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Work on gas turbines, rotating equipment, and associated packaged and ancillary systems, with a focus on Siemens Energy products.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault rectification.
• Conduct controls installation, commissioning, and upgrades on various control systems, such as Siemens PCS7, Allen-Bradley (FT100, FT125), and Woodward.
• Ensure safe working practices in compliance with company operating instructions and standards.
• Produce technical reports with recommendations to resolve customer issues and improve system reliability and availability.
• Participate in training programs to enhance competency and take part in root cause analysis and fault diagnostics

What You Bring

• Possess a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualifications, or vocational qualifications in electrical/controls systems with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Skilled in commissioning, fault finding, maintenance, and servicing of equipment, with expertise in instrumentation, controls, HMI systems, and panel-based electrical systems.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and flexible, with a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in interpreting piping, installation drawings, general engineering schematics, and control diagrams, with experience in using virtual tools, RDS, and related tooling.
• Willing and able to travel extensively (80% domestic and international), work offshore with valid certifications, and be available for emergency callouts or extended periods, including weekends.
• Experience with SGT/TCP/AGT products is a plus, and ability to handle complex customer discussions while protecting company interests is essential.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
