This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Mechanical Engineer (R&D Hardware team) in Eindhoven with Signify.

As a Mechanical Engineer you'll be responsible for the development of connected smart luminaires. This includes products for entertainment, ceiling, spots, floor, table and outdoor products.

• Design & Development: Create mechanical designs for smart luminaires.
• Global Collaboration: Coordinate with teams in Poland, China, and other countries.
• Problem Solving & Optimization: Address engineering challenges and optimize designs.
• Prototype Testing & Validation: Build prototypes and ensure quality through testing.
• Innovation & Sustainability: Develop energy-efficient, sustainable smart lighting solutions.

More about you

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in designing and developing mechanical components. Familiarity with product development for smart or connected devices.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
