NDT Specialist Level III

Position Overview

The NDT Level III is responsible for overseeing, supervising, and performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in accordance with approved procedures and industry standards. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and safety in all inspection activities while providing guidance to junior personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the correct implementation of NDT methods
• Conduct and supervise NDT inspections in compliance with industry standards
• Prepare, review, and validate NDT procedures and reports for accuracy and compliance
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to junior NDT personnel
• Ensure all NDT activities comply with safety and quality standards
• Liaise with internal teams and clients to support successful project execution
• Manage NDT equipment, including calibration, maintenance, and proper handling
• Review and approve inspection results, ensuring timely reporting to stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

• Basic engineering degree or equivalent
• Minimum 12 years' experience in the oil and gas industry, including at least 6 years offshore in similar roles
• Certified NDT Level III (ISO 9712) and additional certifications such as CSWIP, AWS, API, or PCN
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in multiple NDT methods
• Proficient in NDT software and equipment handling
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
