Application Engineering Manager, Energy Storage Solutions Location: Australia Overview We are hiring an Application Engineering Manager to lead technical pre-sales, system sizing, and proposal development for large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across Australia. This role is ideal for a technical leader who can engage directly with customers, drive high-quality engineering deliverables, and support hybrid energy projects (BESS + PV/Wind). What You'll Do • Lead RFx reviews, system sizing, simulations, and technical proposal development. • Provide senior technical support from early design through commissioning. • Partner closely with customers and internal teams across APAC and globally. • Mentor and support regional Application Engineers. • Travel for customer visits, site engagements, and regional events as required. What You Need • Strong background in BESS, PCS, EMS, grid integration, and hybrid plant design. • Ability to run and review simulations for utility-scale energy storage and hybrid systems. • Understanding of PV and wind plant concepts. • 6-8 years' industry experience; Engineering degree required. • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capability.
