Job Description: SCADA Engineer III Location: Lexington, United States Start Date: 11 December 2025 Pay Rate: $62 Per Hour Job Description: As a SCADA Engineer III, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. You will work as a senior member of the team, providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop SCADA system architectures Implement SCADA software and hardware solutions Troubleshoot and resolve SCADA system issues Perform system upgrades and modifications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SCADA systems with other technologies Provide training and support to end-users Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in SCADA system design and implementation Proficiency in SCADA software such as Wonderware, Ignition, or GE Proficy Strong knowledge of PLC programming and HMI development Experience with communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, and OPC Ability to work independently and lead a team Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication and interpersonal abilities Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for SCADA systems
