Facilities Project Manager - Kurdistan

Location: Kurdistan Region of Iraq (Office & Site-Based)
Rotation: 28 Days On / 28 Days Off

An experienced Facilities Project Manager is required to lead the end-to-end delivery of onshore facilities projects, covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while managing interfaces with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders. The role suits a hands-on project professional with strong leadership, planning, and coordination skills in complex onshore environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle from concept through to commissioning and close-out.
• Lead development of project cost estimates and schedules.
• Control project budgets, schedules, and performance reporting.
• Coordinate internal engineering, operations, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Manage external engineering contractors and service providers.
• Coordinate procurement activities and material delivery.
• Manage technical and project change effectively.
• Support commissioning, handover, and operational readiness.
• Provide clear, concise reporting to senior management.
• Mentor and support local project staff.

Candidate Profile

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering.
• Membership of a recognised professional engineering body.
• PMP certification preferred.
• 10 years’ experience as a Facilities Project Manager within onshore oil & gas.
• Strong experience working for an E&P operator.
• Proven delivery of EPC and brownfield projects.
• Experience in the Middle East essential.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English.
