Emergency Response & Crisis Management Advisor
Rotation: 28 days on / 28 days off
Location: Mozambique (Maputo base with site missions to Afungi & Pemba)
Reports to: Safety Operations Manager

Role Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Emergency Response & Crisis Management Advisor to support TotalEnergies’ Mozambique LNG activities. The role is responsible for ensuring effective emergency preparedness, crisis management capability, and incident response across all in-country operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the TEPMA1 focal point for emergency and crisis management.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Emergency Response Plans (ERP) and related procedures.
  • Implement and oversee an effective Incident Management System (IMS).
  • Support the Incident Management Team (IMT) during emergencies and act as Deputy Incident Commander when required.
  • Manage Business Continuity Plans, contingency plans, oil spill response, and MEDEVAC plans.
  • Organise and coordinate emergency response and crisis management trainings and drills.
  • Plan, execute, and debrief emergency exercises (table-top, medium and full-scale).
  • Track and close out corrective actions and lessons learned (REX).
  • Maintain emergency response facilities and crisis rooms across project locations.
  • Promote continuous improvement and digital innovation in crisis management tools.
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in emergency response and crisis management.
  • Strong experience with incident and crisis management systems and oil spill response.
  • Knowledge of construction, aviation, marine, and wildlife risk management.
  • ICS 300 certification is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with TotalEnergies HSE Management System is a plus.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent English required; Portuguese and/or French are strong assets.
