Wood is seeking a Senior Electrical / Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our operations team based in Gladstone.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Executes discipline input to engineering projects
  • Organises, executes and coordinates assignments within agreed budget and schedule
  • Ensure safe project execution and adherence to Safety in Design requirements
  • Applicable role accountabilities to level of experience
  • Contribute to innovative solutions to meet the project objectives
  • Ensures technically sound, fit-for-purpose solutions are developed and documented
  • Quality Assurance - work within the provisions and guidelines in line with Wood's Quality Assurance systems


QUALIFICATIONS

What makes you remarkable?
  • Must be degree qualified with proven experience, predominantly in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Experience may include Conceptual, FEED, detailed design, and site construction experience
  • Experience may be in design, operation, construction/commissioning and general engineering of oil and gas facilities
  • Capable of applying engineering techniques and makes decisions on engineering problems and methods
  • Capable of communicating and interfacing effectively with other disciplines, project managers, and clients' representatives
  • Proven comprehension and application of applicable Australian and International Codes & Standards
  • RPEQ is preferred but the ability to work towards obtaining this highly desirable
  • Preferably has HA, TUV accreditation where applicable
