Position Title: Senior Piping Engineer / Senior Piping Designer
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Project Office)
Contract Type: 3-month contract with potential extension based on project requirements
Work Schedule: Standard full-time (8-10 hours per day, 5 days per week)
Start Date: 5 January 2026
End Date: 5 April 2026
Position Overview:
We are seeking 8 experienced Senior Piping Engineers / Designers to support a high-value project in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves performing advanced 3D modelling, design, and documentation for piping systems, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and quality requirements. The successful candidates will work closely with lead engineers to deliver project milestones on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform 3D modelling for equipment and piping systems and update models based on feedback

Conduct 3D model checking, including clash detection and model readiness verification

Produce 2D drawings up to “Approved for Construction” (AFC) deliverables, where required

Design pipe supports, produce isometrics, and perform layout activities as needed

Prepare analysis reports, calculations, and summaries; maintain accurate records of all design inputs and revisions

Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure structural integrity and compliance

Support fabrication, installation, and inspection activities with technical input

Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications

Participate in design reviews, quality checks, and project documentation control
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Piping, or related Engineering discipline

Proven experience in piping design and engineering for large-scale projects

Strong knowledge of 3D CAD modelling tools and piping design software

Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and engineering best practices

Excellent communication and collaboration skills in multi-disciplinary project teams
