Position Title: Senior Interface Engineer

Location: Doha, Onshore

Contract Type: Long-term assignment (demob 31 December 2027)

Work Schedule: Standard full-time (8-10 hours per day, 5 days per week)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Interface Engineer to manage and coordinate internal and external interfaces for a large-scale offshore and onshore development project. The role ensures that engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities are fully aligned, and that interfaces across multiple disciplines and contractors are effectively monitored to prevent delays, conflicts, or rework.

The successful candidate will facilitate communication between project teams, contractors, and external stakeholders, oversee interface tracking and risk management, and ensure timely resolution of interface issues. This role requires proactive coordination, technical expertise, and adherence to project specifications, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Interface Management Plan for the project

• Identify and manage all internal and external interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, HSE, operations, drilling, and third-party contractors

• Establish and maintain an Interface Register to track issues, actions, and dependencies

• Organize and participate in interface meetings, workshops, and technical coordination sessions

• Ensure timely resolution of interface issues to prevent delays or conflicts

• Monitor contractor adherence to project specifications, schedule milestones, and contractual obligations

• Liaise with other operators, NOC entities, and internal teams to manage interdependencies

• Track technical queries, derogations, and document approvals throughout project phases

• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of interface management activities, including audits and lessons learned

• Support project management processes such as FEED RFQ, EPC contract execution, and project close-out

• Anticipate interface challenges and propose technical solutions in collaboration with discipline engineers and contractors

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards at all times

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related discipline

• 8-10 years’ professional experience, with at least 3 years in interface management or coordination roles

• Strong knowledge of EPC project lifecycle, multidisciplinary engineering, and construction processes

• Familiarity with offshore platforms, riser and wellhead installations, and subsea pipelines is advantageous

• Understanding of contract management, project execution, and operational handover processes

• Experience with project management tools (Primavera, MS Project)

• H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET certifications

• Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and teams across parallel projects
