This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised person to join the Placement Review Team, based within Children and Family Services. The post holder will be responsible for further development of the Children's Continuing Care function to respond to the increasing number and complexities of children in care and those with additional health needs, ensuring effective and efficient use of resources, demonstrating commercial awareness in identifying where there is responsibility for joint commissioning with the Integrated Care Board.
You will have a high level of personal drive and commitment to excellent customer care; strong interpersonal skills to gain the agreement and acceptance of others including colleagues, senior managers and customers; ability to make decisions and solve problems independently to meet operational targets, involving devising solutions and prioritising the resources available; ability to meet agreed objectives and delivery targets by the effective procurement and use of resources. You must be able to work well in a team and reflect on your own contribution to improve practice.
This service covers the whole of the County, the team is split between two bases: however, this post will be based at County Hall in West Bridgford. Team members work flexibly, working from home or different County Council buildings.
