Vacancy: Project Manager –Large Energy Infrastructure Projects

Role Overview The Project Manager is responsible for leading the execution of large-scale, complex energy infrastructure projects from initiation through delivery. The role operates in an international, multidisciplinary environment and ensures that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements. The position acts as a key interface between the project organization, clients, authorities, and partners.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Lead the execution of large, complex EPC or turnkey energy projects.
2. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and change processes.
3. Act as primary interface with clients, authorities, and key external stakeholders.
4. Lead and coordinate global, multidisciplinary project teams and sub-project managers.
5. Ensure strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Assess risks and opportunities and implement effective mitigation strategies.
7. Ensure contractual obligations and local regulatory requirements are met.

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience managing medium to large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Background in energy, power transmission, utilities, or complex technical environments is an advantage.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing international and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Fluency in English; local language proficiency is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies, contracts, and risk management.
• High level of resilience, adaptability, and ability to operate in complex, high-pressure environments.
• Project management certification (e.g. PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
