Your Department
As a Process Engineer Warehouse, you will be part of the Global Spare Parts team within the Business Unit Supply. The Spare Parts department is globally responsible for portfolio management, sales, planning, ordering, and delivery of Vanderlande's material handling spare parts.
The department is divided into three sub-teams:
Your Position
The Process Engineer - Warehouse is responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing efficient processes within warehouse operations. This role ensures that material handling, storage, and distribution workflows meet safety, quality, and productivity standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Additionally, this position will play a key role in the project of setting up and transitioning to the new warehouse and will act as a key user for the new Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Your Department
As a Process Engineer Warehouse, you will be part of the Global Spare Parts team within the Business Unit Supply. The Spare Parts department is globally responsible for portfolio management, sales, planning, ordering, and delivery of Vanderlande's material handling spare parts.
The department is divided into three sub-teams:
- Logistics - responsible for material planning, ordering, operational supplier management, warehousing, and outbound logistics of spare parts. You will be part of this team.
- Sales and Portfolio Management - responsible for item control, portfolio management, and sales order management/support.
- Strategy and Transformation - focusing on developing strategies and executing projects and changes related to strategic initiatives.
Your Position
The Process Engineer - Warehouse is responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing efficient processes within warehouse operations. This role ensures that material handling, storage, and distribution workflows meet safety, quality, and productivity standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Additionally, this position will play a key role in the project of setting up and transitioning to the new warehouse and will act as a key user for the new Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Process Design & Optimization:
Develop and improve warehouse processes for receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
- New Warehouse Setup:
Act as a core team member in planning, coordinating, and executing the transition to the new warehouse facility, ensuring seamless operations during and after the move.
- WMS Key User:
Serve as the key user for the new Warehouse Management System, supporting configuration, testing, training, and troubleshooting.
- Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring:
Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. Implement KPIs and dashboards for performance tracking.
- Continuous Improvement:
Lead Lean projects to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Technology Integration:
Collaborate with IT and automation teams to implement WMS, and other technologies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with operations, supply chain, and quality teams to align warehouse processes with overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3-8 years of experience in process engineering or warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI).
- Experience with WMS implementation and automation technologies is a plus.
Skills
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards.

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 3.600 to € 5.000 per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance).
