Role synopsis

Responsible for providing engineering expertise under the direction of a Project Manager for delivering a substantial subset of a moderately complex project and directing contractors and for cross-discipline coordination with other project team members to ensure the technical integrity of the project and to complete assigned work activities across all phases of the project are delivered in accordance with BP, HSSE, and ethical standards and in compliance with all relevant statutory requirements.

Job Description

• Minimum of 6 years' experience in the offshore oil and gas industry or a related sector, with a focus on pipeline project delivery roles.
• Proven experience managing contractor studies, ensuring delivery of tasks within agreed schedules and budgets.
• Experience in stakeholder management and project governance.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multifunctional teams, building cooperation and credibility with bp and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to self-manage and validate own and others' work to support accurate delivery.
• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, analyze diverse data sets, and provide actionable insights.
• Strong understanding of Indian offshore regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in planning and organizing, with a track record of delivering results under challenging timelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex technical and operational issues.
• Strong interpersonal, networking, and influencing skills, coupled with clear and effective communication abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBi, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate confidently at all organizational levels.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
