What you'll be doing:
Do you want a role that sets you up for a career? A role where you're recognised, can thrive and develop, and where you work with a diverse range of people across social care, health, the voluntary sector, and the wider community? Do you want to make a real impact on vulnerable people's lives, working with them to improve services and outcomes while learning a wide range of transferable skills that will boost your future potential?
If the answer is 'yes' then this is an exciting time to join our new team, which will be expanding further to include an all age approach..
You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of strategic commissioning priorities and will use data, insight and evidence to understand current and future demand, help shape the market and the redesign of services and pathways that meet statutory duties and improve outcomes for residents and carers.
Contributing to agreed savings and ensuring services deliver value for money, you will also be working closely with market management, finance, legal and procurement colleagues across the Council.
These roles are not portfolio specific, and your work plan will be driven by our priorities, including the Commissioning Forward Plan. Line management will be provided by the Strategic Commissioner (Older People)
