EngineeringSubsea7 is looking for engineers to work within the pre-commissioning team based in the Stavanger office.
The tasks you will solve:
• Responsible for development of pipeline de-commissioning, pre-commissioning and commissioning (RFO) concepts and solutions. Preparation of documentation and procedures for such activities
• Follow-up of sub-contractors and interface between business partners and clients
• Working in a project environment and participation on various onshore sites around the world can be required
• Sporadic offshore work on vessels, as well as travel, must be expected

What we want from you:
• Engineering degree in Marine-/Naval-/Offshore Technology /Civil/Mechanical or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Previous experience from pre-commissioning and commissioning of pipelines and subsea systems
• General understanding of controls systems and the requirements for testing and monitoring of cables and umbilicals
• General knowledge on pipeline pig design and functionality
• Good understanding of code requirements for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
• Experience of managing interfaces within a project structure is preferred
• The ability to work within time/budget constraints and inform team members where constraints will affect a project in terms of progress or budget is essential
• The ability to communicate well with other departments, clients and suppliers
• Creative problem solving - able to suggest and develop new methods and ways of working
