We are looking for Regulatory Compliance Leadership Services for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Paris, France

Contract Duration: 1 year

Qualification and Experience Required:

  • You are the ideal profile if, with an engineering degree or equivalent, you have at least 10 years of relevant professional experience on onshore projects in the oil and gas sector, as well as experience working with third parties, national authorities and regulatory compliance. You have a perfect command of the execution of EPC projects. Experience working with North American regulatory content is an asset. Louisiana is an asset.
  • You are able to work with third-party organizations, local authorities, the customer, suppliers, subcontractors and internally with multiple disciplines.
  • You have a good understanding of the certification process, a good understanding of the role, responsibilities and boundaries between suppliers, subcontractors, contractors and customers.
  • You have technical knowledge of systems and packages, construction and testing philosophy.
  • Experience in operations, engineering, construction and commissioning as well as an understanding of engineering processes is an asset.

Purpose of the service

The Service Provider will carry out the following tasks:

  • Establish, maintain and implement project procedures related to regulatory compliance
  • Ensure adequate reporting to project management
  • Be a critical interface point between Huston's operations center and Paris for regulatory activities, and ensure that you receive all information from Huston for enhanced coordination within the Paris operations center. Establish and maintain workflow coordination between centers.
  • Support disciplines on local and national regulatory requirements and inform the draft of regulations impacting each phase, helping to clarify points where necessary. Consolidate information and follow up.
  • Ensure the development and implementation of the regulatory compliance plan.
  • Establish and maintain a register of authorizations.
  • Support disciplines for implementation, monitoring, and reporting of FERC conditions.
  • Consolidate all data related to labeling, stamping and import requirements and support discipline for tracking activities.
  • Ensure that all required compliance activities are carried out by subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Serve as an internal and external point of contact for the above activities.
