You will be mainly responsible for
- Provide hardware support through ticketing system, via phone or Email. In addition to that, support partners and subsidiaries through the 24x7 rotation Diagnostic Centre tasks.
- Elaborate complex UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) system analysis and document it adequately for interested stakeholders.
- Occasional travelling to direct customers, partners and ABB subsidiaries to support complex installation, audit service operations and grow the competencies of local teams. Furthermore, interact with other departments, such as Quality and R&D, to address product issues and carry-on continuous product improvement.
- Provide training on UPS products for customers & UPS service engineers whereas required.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering or higher study degree, ideally with UPS or technical aftersales support experience.
- Proficient in both verbal and written communication in English (B2 or higher) and Italian.
Knowledge of any other European language is welcome. - Ability to write technical documents, reports, and procedures for field support.
- Good familiarity with MS Office package.
- A qualified candidate is organized and methodical, with prominent level of technical proficiency and effective interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to engage directly with clients and teams worldwide-travel commitment up to 15%.
