Overview
An international energy operator is seeking a Civil and Structural Engineer to support major oil and gas projects within its Projects Engineering Support function. This role offers exposure to complex industrial facilities and the opportunity to contribute across the full project lifecycle, from early studies through execution.

You will provide specialist civil and structural engineering input while working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, contractors, and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver civil and structural engineering activities in accordance with regulatory requirements, project specifications, and recognised international codes

• Prepare and review conceptual studies, design bases, and civil and structural design deliverables

• Provide technical support to operating assets to ensure structural integrity, safety, and reliability

• Support projects across all phases including pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design, and execution

• Perform and review complex structural analyses and design calculations using appropriate engineering tools

• Review detailed drawings and engineering packages prepared by consultants and contractors

• Support technical reviews, constructability assessments, and value engineering activities

• Participate in multi-disciplinary technical reviews and risk assessment sessions

• Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders as required

Health, Safety, and Quality

• Ensure all activities comply with applicable health, safety, environmental, and quality standards

• Promote safe engineering and execution practices across all project phases

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of civil and structural engineering experience within an oil and gas or heavy industrial environment

• Experience supporting projects across multiple engineering and execution phases

• Experience working with contractors and multi-disciplinary engineering teams

Skills and Competencies

• Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering principles and international design codes

• Ability to manage technical interfaces across multiple stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Clear and professional written and spoken English

• Competent with standard structural engineering and analysis software tools

• Comfortable working in a structured, project-driven environment
