This Position reports to:
Senior Project Engineer

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with medium to high complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple medium projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.

This role contributes to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
• Working with customers to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.
• Creating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted budget.
• Coordinating with relevant functions to ensure that designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.
• Coaching engineering colleagues translating of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.
• Performing design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
• 4+ years of experience in similar positions.
• Advanced English is required for this role.
• Ability to develop and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings related to industrial automation, its communication protocols, and the mating of electrical equipment and enclosures.
• Experience in EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, CREO.
• Experience working with switchboards, switchgear, MCCs or panelboards.
• Passionate about hands-on learning, problem-solving, taking initiative, being curious, contributing to the manufacturing process, and sharing knowledge to support the growth of junior engineers.
