Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Structural / Civil Engineer to lead the design and delivery of industrial process facility support structures. The role provides technical leadership, coordination of design activities, and ensures safe, compliant, and efficient engineering solutions for complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design of process facility support structures using industry-standard software (e.g., SpaceGass or equivalent)

• Oversee civil design of foundations supporting industrial equipment and structures

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers and designers

• Conduct structural analysis, design reviews, and verification of engineering outputs

• Coordinate with project managers, process engineers, and construction teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget

• Ensure risk management, compliance, and quality standards are consistently applied across all structural and civil work

Qualifications & Experience

• 15+ years of experience in structural and civil engineering design, preferably within industrial or process facilities

• Demonstrated experience with Australian standards and engineering practices

• Proficiency in structural design software such as SpaceGass; familiarity with other structural analysis tools is a plus

• Strong civil foundation design experience for industrial support structures

• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
