How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
As part of the Site Activity Hub within the MTO (Manufacturing-to-Order) Department, you will represent Air Liquide during the on-site commissioning of our methane liquefiers, the Turbo-Brayton units.
You will be responsible for ensuring on-site pre-commissioning and at-sea commissioning (Gas Trials), strictly adhering to the activity's safety and quality standards. You will also supervise activities delegated to third-party companies on our equipment and may be required to work offshore for after-sales service (ASS).

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

You will be responsible for ensuring on-site pre-commissioning and at-sea commissioning (Gas Trials), strictly adhering to the activity's safety and quality standards. You will also supervise activities delegated to third-party companies on our equipment and may be required to work offshore for after-sales service (ASS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation: Prepare on-site interventions prior to travel (travel arrangements, tooling, and necessary technical documentation).
- Safety: Act as the guarantor of safety on-site in coordination with back-office teams.
- Quality & Troubleshooting: Ensure the quality of the delivered product, complete technical procedures, and resolve troubleshooting issues with back-office support.
- Project Management: Guarantee the progress of the pre-commissioning and Gas Trial schedules, reporting any deviations to the manager.
- Subcontractor Management: Oversee subcontractors and external stakeholders regarding safety, quality, and deadlines.
- Training: Train customers and operators on technical aspects and procedures to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation.
- Certification: Validate all documentation required to obtain machine certification.
- Maintenance: Perform equipment commissioning and/or maintenance for after-sales service on-site.
Are you a MATCH?
You are a Generalist Engineer or specialized in Electrotechnics, Process Control, Instrumentation, or Mechanics, looking for a formative international experience.
Technical Prerequisites:
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and P&IDs.
- General technical knowledge (mechanics, fluid mechanics, cryogenics, low-voltage electricity, regulation/control).
- Fluent English.
- Knowledge of Chinese or Korean is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Team player.
- Ability to synthesize complex information.
- Knowledge of Lean principles.
- Mobility: International assignments lasting several months (approximately 70% of the year).
- Environment: Primarily offshore on LNGCs (Liquefied Natural Gas Carriers).
- MTO (Manufacturing-to-Order) : Ce terme est conservé car c'est un standard industriel.
- Gas Trial : Terme technique spécifique au secteur maritime pour les essais de gaz.
- P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) : C'est l'acronyme standard utilisé en anglais pour les schémas de tuyauterie et d'instrumentation.
