Job Summary: HDLC Systems Principal Engineer with design leadership in mechanical product and system design. Technical authority on multiple associated disciplines. Customer facing engagement to articulate offerings and drive engineering requirements for systems.
Business Unit Job Summary: LC & HD Principal Engineer working closely with Customers, Technical Sales, Engineering and other Stakeholders to help specify conceptual designs of new liquid cooling Products, and systems. Working with technologist to crystalize customer needs into defined requirements. Articulating offerings to internal and external stakeholders in the context of deployment.
Responsibilities:
• Work With Technologist to establish clear product and system requirements from market needs.
• Creating concepts derived from requirements that meet customers objectives.
• Balancing key aspects in design that may be conflicting such as size vs serviceability, standard vs cost, performance vs weight and size etc.
• Working with design teams for mechanical and electrical to guide their design work in alignment with initial design vision without compromise.
• Help design teams in aspects of deployment, commissioning and service in the field.
• Enhance team talent with mentorship, guidance, coaching and training in the disciplines one is expert in.
Education & Certifications:
• Minimum Hins Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.
• Good Skills with Microsoft Office tools for management reporting
• Know how in associated customer base, competition and market drivers
• Long standing and excellent data center design and deployment experience
