RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages a portfolio of small projects with annual capital and operational expenditures ranging from $5 to $50 million
- Can provide guidance to less experienced project engineers
- Strong adherence to safety culture is essential; knowledge of safety procedures, hazard identification, risk mitigation, and compliance with industry safety standards is highly valued
- Manages activities during the FEED phase: defines project scope, conducts technical studies (e.g., topographic survey and geotechnical), and aligns with stakeholders
- Manages detailed engineering to ensure compliance with project requirements, norms, and standards, covering full construction and commissioning cycle up to handover to operations
- Leads and supports the development of project schedules (schedule management); monitors progress and implements corrective actions
- Proficient in applying Agile and traditional Waterfall project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, CPMS), as well as MFO (front-end loading, project execution, and administrative methodology) across multiple phases
- Responsible for risk management and mitigation planning: must proactively identify, assess, and address risks throughout the project lifecycle, including technical, financial, schedule, and safety risks
- Demonstrates strong experience in cost management and the application of business principles (e.g., Total Cost of Ownership, ROCE, IRR, Cash Flow, NPV, EV, etc.)
- Manages project changes through formal Management of Change (MOC) processes, including impact assessment and obtaining approvals
- Can work as a member of multifunctional teams to support and execute tasks in medium to high complexity projects or portfolios of CB (Capital Budget) projects:
- Acts as a project representative across multiple disciplines at the site
- May serve as the company's lead representative in the contractor's office
- Oversees large and complex contracts
- Independently resolves design issues
- Maintains communication with the construction office, suppliers, Operations, and other necessary project teams
- Takes responsibility for successful execution of project processes
- Responsible for preparing project support specialists such as inspectors, vendor representatives, functional testing personnel, etc.
- Demonstrates application of Сompany's project delivery model and related processes, integration of OE into engineering and project execution, and project management skills
- Has deep knowledge of overall TCO operations and associated facilities
- Demonstrates application of functional principles, processes, practices, and tools in project management, and shows understanding of work requirements and core principles in at least one function outside their primary area of expertise
- Understands and applies decision-making approaches
- Identifies and applies technology to solve problems in their area of expertise
- Demonstrates awareness of individual impact on strategic objectives
- Shows broad technical proficiency and experience
- Leads and participates in incident investigation activities
QUALIFICATIONS
- Higher Education (preferably technical)
- Relevant work experience - not less than 4 years
- Computer literacy (e.g., MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experienced user of communication tools (MS Teams or similar)
- Knowledge of oil and gas industry standards such as GOST, SNIP, API, ASME, ISO, IEC, and OSHA
- Experience with the following tools or their equivalents is a plus: Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SmartPlant, AVEVA, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Smartsheet/ADO/JIRA, SharePoint, Power BI, and MOC systems
