This Position reports to:
Senior Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in San Luis Potosi.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Acts as a technical lead, approves design deliverables and reviews all project documents for conformity, safety, and quality assurance.
• Works with the customer to shape and deliver solutions and seeks customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.
• Participates in project meetings and resolves any outstanding technical issues to meet contractual obligations.
• Performs Project Peer-Reviews.
• Utilizes checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical-electrical engineering.
• 2-3 years experience in 3D mechanical design.
• Design software proficiency in Creo is required (Solid works sheet metal, and AutoCAD proficiency preferred)
• Excel (Macros) proficiency
• SAP Proficiency
• Advanced English
