Responsibilities

-Responsible for development of pipeline de-commissioning, pre-commissioning and commissioning (RFO) concepts and solutions.
-Preparation of documentation and procedures for such activities
-Follow-up of sub-contractors and interface between business partners and clients
-Working in a project environment and participation on various onshore sites around the world can be required
-Sporadic offshore work on vessels, as well as travel, must be expected

Required expertise

-Engineering degree in Marine-/Naval-/Offshore Technology /Civil/Mechanical or equivalent
-Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
-Previous experience from pre-commissioning and commissioning of pipelines and subsea systems
-General understanding of controls systems and the requirements for testing and monitoring of cables and umbilicals
-General knowledge on pipeline pig design and functionality
-Good understanding of code requirements for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
-Experience of managing interfaces within a project structure is preferred
-The ability to work within time/budget constraints and inform team members where constraints will affect a project in terms of progress or budget is essential
-The ability to communicate well with other departments, clients and suppliers
-Creative problem solving - able to suggest and develop new methods and ways of working
