Location: UK (Resident)
Missions Abroad: Yes – approx. 4 weeks per year
Contract Duration: 2 years
Start Date: Q1 2026

Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced NDE Engineer to support a large-scale Oil & Gas EPC development. The role covers detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction phases and requires strong technical leadership in Non-Destructive Examination activities, ensuring compliance with international codes, project specifications, and best engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and ensure strict compliance with H3SE requirements
  • Act as focal point for all NDE-related matters within the project scope
  • Review, validate, and approve NDE procedures, technical documentation, deviations, and NCRs
  • Supervise and witness NDE activities at contractor, subcontractor, and supplier facilities
  • Assess and qualify NDE operators, equipment, and facilities (including radioprotection and HSE aspects)
  • Coordinate closely with welding and QA/QC teams on performance and improvement plans
  • Monitor contractor progress, identify risks, and propose corrective or optimization measures
  • Participate in audits, inspections, technical meetings, and coordination reviews
  • Ensure schedule adherence and cost optimisation without compromising quality or safety
Candidate Profile Experience:
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas projects
  • At least 10 years in a similar NDE specialist or lead role on major EPC projects
Technical Qualifications:
  • ISO 9712 (or equivalent):
    • Level III UT
    • Level III MT
    • Minimum Level II RT, PT, VT
  • Radiographic Interpretation certification
  • Senior Inspector certification (e.g. CSWIP 3.2 or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of applicable international codes and standards (e.g. ASME BPVC, ASME B31.3, AWS D1.1)
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, or related discipline)
Languages:
  • Fluent English

  • Proactive, autonomous, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working in complex, multicultural project environments
