Role Mission

Are you passionate about technical support, electrical systems, and cutting-edge technologies in the maritime industry? ABB is looking for a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our Marine & Ports division in Brazil. If you have strong experience with ABB power and distribution systems, extensive field maintenance expertise, and are ready to take on complex technical challenges, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers, ensuring timely, cost‑effective, and high‑quality support aligned with ABB guidelines.
• Categorize, analyze, and troubleshoot technical issues through customer communication and remote access to assets, covering a wide range of certified ABB services and products.
• Identify additional opportunities while supporting customers and report them to the account team following local business processes.
• Prepare all required documentation and customer reports, ensuring they are acknowledged by the customer representative.
• Identify improvement needs in products, services, and ways of working, and drive improvement actions within your area of responsibility.

Requirements

• Hands‑on experience with ABB power and distribution systems.
• Extensive experience with field maintenance activities.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Advanced or fluent English skills.

Nice to Have

• Availability for occasional travel.
• Familiarity with Marine & Ports solutions and maritime electrical systems.
