Intern Process Engineer

Where You'll Make a Difference

As a Chemical Engineering graduation intern, you will work independently with support from our engineers on:

Analysis & Orientation

• Mapping the production process.
• Determining relevant process parameters such as flow rates, temperature profiles, and product properties.

Design and Engineering

• Preparing process designs (PFD, and possibly P&ID).
• Sizing and selecting the appropriate equipment.
• Performing heat balance and thermodynamic calculations.
• Selecting the type and size of equipment based on process conditions.
• Integrating the design within the existing plant (layout proposal, routing, safety aspects).

Execution & Documentation

• Preparing technical drawings and calculations.
• Providing justification for choices regarding equipment and design.
• Formulating an implementation plan for system realization.
• Developing a final report and presenting it to various stakeholders.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor level (HBO) traineeship or graduate
• Motivated and proactive attitude
• Preferred: affinity with automation, data and processes
